Carrot Halwa Recipe

Hi friends,
                Carrot is a crunchy orange vegetable. Moms like to feed their children because of its health benefits. Carrot is good for our eye sight. Carrot prevents cancer and it has  anti aging nutrients. Carrot gives us a healthy and glowing skin.. Why don't we use such a wonderful vegetable in our diet very often? So try to have Carrots atleast twice a week. We can make carrot juice, carrot milk shake, carrot stir fry, carrot pulao, etc.Today I tried Carrot Halwa. It came out well. Lets see how to prepare the Carrot Halwa.

Chicken Pakoda Recipe

 Hello  friends,
                    Chicken Pakoda is a spicy starter. Chicken Pakoda is  easy to prepare at home. Lets see how to prepare chicken pakoda.



 Ingredients:
  • Boneless chicken 250 g
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Gram flour 1/4 cup
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Cashew nuts - 10 nos
  • Onion - 1
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Handful of curry leaves
  • Handful of coriander leaves
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

To grind:
  • A small piece of ginger
  • Garlic - 5 cloves
  • A small piece of cinnamon
  • Fennel seed 1 tsp
  • Cloves - 5
  • Green chilli - 4
Preparation:
  • Grind everything in the mixer grinder, given in the "to grind " items


  •  Cut the chicken into small pieces.
  • Sprinkle  a teaspoon of turmeric powder , mix them well and wash  the chicken thoroughly.
  • Add the ground masala, turmeric powder, salt and mix them well.
  • Refrigerate the marinated chicken for atleast an hour.
  •  Once the chicken marinated well, add gram flour, corn flour, chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, cashew nuts and red chilli powder to it.
  • Mix them till the flour coated well on the chicken pieces.
  •  Heat oil in a pan and fry  ten or twelve chicken pieces at a time.
  • Fry it in a low flame till it turns to golden brown.
  •  Use kitchen paper to remove the excess oil.
  • Now the crispy chicken pakodas are ready to serve.
