Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken 250 g
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Gram flour 1/4 cup
- Corn flour 2 tsp
- Cashew nuts - 10 nos
- Onion - 1
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Handful of curry leaves
- Handful of coriander leaves
- Oil for deep frying
- Salt to taste
To grind:
- A small piece of ginger
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- A small piece of cinnamon
- Fennel seed 1 tsp
- Cloves - 5
- Green chilli - 4
Preparation:
- Grind everything in the mixer grinder, given in the "to grind " items
- Cut the chicken into small pieces.
- Sprinkle a teaspoon of turmeric powder , mix them well and wash the chicken thoroughly.
- Add the ground masala, turmeric powder, salt and mix them well.
- Refrigerate the marinated chicken for atleast an hour.
- Once the chicken marinated well, add gram flour, corn flour, chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, cashew nuts and red chilli powder to it.
- Mix them till the flour coated well on the chicken pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry ten or twelve chicken pieces at a time.
- Fry it in a low flame till it turns to golden brown.
- Use kitchen paper to remove the excess oil.
- Now the crispy chicken pakodas are ready to serve.
