Hi friends,
Carrot is a crunchy orange vegetable. Moms like to feed their children because of its health benefits. Carrot is good for our eye sight. Carrot prevents cancer and it has  anti aging nutrients. Carrot gives us a healthy and glowing skin.. Why don't we use such a wonderful vegetable in our diet very often? So try to have Carrots atleast twice a week. We can make carrot juice, carrot milk shake, carrot stir fry, carrot pulao, etc.Today I tried Carrot Halwa. It came out well. Lets see how to prepare the Carrot Halwa.

  • Grate the carrots  and set aside.
How I made the Carrot Halwa:
  • Take a pan, add the grated carrots and milk into it and cook it in a low flame around fifteen minutes.
  • Once the carrot cooked well, add sugar and saute it continuously.
  • When it reaches the halwa consistency, take another pan and heat the ghee.Fry the cashew nuts in it.

  • The Carrot halwa is ready to serve.
Note:

    1. Many of the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients in a carrot are commonly
contained in the skin. So I do not peel the carrot, instead I'll give a nice wash.
      Thank you dear.
