Health benefits of eating fish:
- Fish is a good source of protein.
- They are rich in omega 3 fatty acids.
- They prevent heart diseases.
- They are rich in iron, especially small fishes eaten with bones.
- They are good for the pregnant women for fetal growth and brain development.
- Consuming fish reduces the join pain and arthritis.
Atleast twice a week , we have to include fish in our diet to get all these benefits.Lets switch over to the recipe.

serves: 3 persons
Ingredients:
- Fish 500g
- Red chilli powder 2 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Corn flour 2tsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
- Sprinkle salt over the fish pieces, mix them well and rinse thoroughly.
- In a bowl, add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, garlic paste, corn flour and salt to the fish pieces and mix them well to coat the masala evenly.
- Let it sit for half an hour. we may refrigerate them also.
Method:
It goes well with:
- Heat oil in a pan. Reduce the flame to medium.
- Add five to six pieces of marinated fish at a time, depending upon the size of the frying pan and fry them for five minutes.
- Flip the fish pieces to cook other side. Fry both the sides to golden brown.
- Drain the fried pieces from the oil and keep those pieces on the kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil.
- Fry all the marinated fish pieces in the same way.
- Now the crispy, spicy and the tasty fish fry is all ready to serve.
- Garnish it and serve hot.
It goes well with:
- Fish fry is the best side for the fish gravy rice.
- we may use the ready made Fish Fry masala also. But that won't give the better flavor like home made masala.
