Today my post is regarding how to make Lady's Finger Fry. It is full of nutrients.So I used to cook once in a week to keep my family members healthy. Many of us do not know the health benefits of Lady's Finger. Just I want to share it with you. Then you will also start consuming it frequently.

Today my post is regarding how to make Lady's Finger Fry. It is full of nutrients.So I used to cook once in a week to keep my family members healthy. Many of us do not know the health benefits of Lady's Finger. Just I want to share it with you. Then you will also start consuming it frequently.
Health benefits of Lady's Finger:
- It cures constipation.
- It reduces the blood sugar and the cholesterol level.
- Lady' Finger is the best food for the people who feel very weak, exhausted and suffering from depression.
- In addition to this it cures lungs inflammation, sore throat and irritable bowel.
Preparation Time: 15 min
Cooking Time : 15 min
Serves: 2 persons
Ingredients :
- Lady's finger 250 g
- A ladle of oil
- Mustard oil 1 tsp
- Split black gram 1 tsp
- Onion 1
- Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste.
- Wash the Lady's finger and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel and chop them into small pieces.
- Chop the onions and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seed and the split black gram.
- Wait till they splutter. Then add the chopped onions.Saute it to golden brown.
- Once the onion turned to golden brown, add the chopped Lady's Fiunger.
- Saute them very gently and cook it in a low flame for ten minutes.
- When the Lady's fingers are half cooked,add the red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt to it.
- Cook them in a low flame for another five minutes.
- Garnish it with the curry leaves.
- Now the Spicy Lady's Finger Fry is ready to serve.
- Spicy Lady's Finger Fry is a suitable side dish for Karamani Kuzhambu,
Notes:
- We may reduce the oil to three teaspoon, when we fry them in a non stick pan.
- We may add our choice of masala too. Home made is always good for our health.
- Buy always the tender Lady's finger. To check whether it is tender, we have to break the tail part of it. If it breaks properly, it is suitable for our dish.
