Lemon Rice
Ingredients:
- Boiled Rice - 500gms
- Lemon - 2
- Mustard seed - 1/2 spoon
- Split black gram -1 spoon
- Green Chilly - 5
- Red Chilly - 2
- Turmeric powder - pinch
- Asafoetida - pinch
- Curry leaves, Coriander leaves.
- Salt (as per your wish)
Procedure:
- Extract juice from the lemons.
- Heat the oil in a pan and put mustard seeds and allow it to crackle.
- Fry the black gram seed along with it.
- Saute red chilly, green chilly, curry leaves, coriander leaves in the same pan.
- Add turmeric powder, asfoetida and salt and take the pan off the stove.
- Add the boiled rice and mix it well.
- Sprinkle the lemon juice all over the rice and mix thoroughly.
- Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.
