Chicken 65

Hi friends,
          Everybody like fried chicken. Chicken65 is the one of the famous fried chicken recipe. Nobody knows  how Chicken 65 got its name. Some say chicken 65 was the 65th item in a menu card somewhere but it doesn't matter where it got the name. What matters is chicken 65 tastes good. And it is simple to make . I recommend  that you try this because even a beginner can make this perfectly in their first attempt.
Chicken 65


  • 500g of chicken
  • 500 ml of cooking oil
  • 1 tsp of garam masala powder
  • 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of pepper powder
  • 1 tsp of cumin seed powder
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp of red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp of coriander powder
  • 1 table spoon of curd
  • salt to taste.

  • Sprinkle 1 tsp of turmeric powder on the chicken , mix it well and rinse and drain the water thoroughly.
  • Add garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, cumin seed powder, red chilly powder coriander powder, curd and salt with the chicken and mix them well.
  • Add turmeric powder  or food color ( if you want) . Here I have used turmeric powder.
  • Let it marinate for an hour or two.
  • Then heat the oil in a pan. Deep fry the chicken pieces in a low flame. Fry them both the sides till the chicken becomes crispy on the outside and soft inside.
  • Now remove the chicken pieces from the pan and keep it on a tissue paper so that it will absorb the excess oil.
  • Garnish it as you wish.

Serve with:

                Chicken 65 is the best side dish for chicken biriyani .
        To make sure that the chicken is cooked while frying the chicken, wait till the bubbles stopped.
