Lemon Pickle

Hi friends,
           Pickle is something that everyone  should keep in their refrigerator for those days when you have a lot to do and have no time to cook anything.Once you prepare and store lemon pickle and store it , it will be good at least for 3 months.,unless you finish it fast. And it is easy to make. So let's just start.

Lemon pickle

  • 15 lemon
  • 50g of red chilly powder
  • 100 ml of gingili oil
  • 1 tsp of mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seed
  • 1 tsp of asafoetida
  • salt 

  • Wash and boil lemon in the steam ( in the idli pot) for 15 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool.

  • Then cut each lemon into eight pieces.
  • Add a handful of salt.

  • Add red chilly powder .

  • And mix them well

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed and fenugreek seed and wait till it crackles.
  • Add asafoetida and the lemon pieces and saute it for 5 minutes.
  • Remove it, let it cool and store it in a air tight container.
Goes well with:
       Its a  best side dish for anything and every thing. Nothing can beat this taste. It will be the ready made side dish, when there is no time to cook.

      Store the lemon pickle in the refrigerator. The other way to preserve the lemon pickle is to keep it in the sunlight frequently.
