Potato Masala Roast

Hi friends,
Today I'm going to share with you a menu which is really spicy and tasty .Let's see how to prepare the potato masala roast.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kg of potato
  • 2 tsp of red chilly powder
  • 2 tsp of coriander powder
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp of cumin seed powder
  • 1/2 tsp of pepper powder
  • Cooking oil
  • salt
How to prepare:
  • Wash thoroughly and boil the potatoes.
  • Peel off the potatoes and cut them in to the pieces as shown in the picture.
  • Marinate the potatoes with the red chilly powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, cumin seed powder, ginger paste and salt.
  • Sprinkle water so that the masala will be absorbed by the potatoes.

  • Fry the potato pieces in a tawa.
  • Sprinkle some oil over the potato pieces.
  • Wait till the masala turns to golden brown.
  • Flip the potato pieces and sprinkle oil over them.
  • Let the other side too cook till it becomes golden brown. so that the outer part will be crispy and the inner part will be soft.
  • Remove it from heat. Now the potato masala roast is all ready to serve.
Serve with:
Potato masala roast is the best side dish for sambar rice, curd rice, and all variety rice like

lemon-rice, puliyodharai.tomato-rice., coconut-rice. But I like to have the potato masala roast with the rice with  moong-dal-gravy.

Try this potato masala roast  and enjoy the spicy taste.
