Hello friends,
In this post I'm going to share with you one of  the sea food recipe. Yes it is a prawn recipe. Its a popular sea food dish in India.. We can cook the prawns  very easily and quickly. Prawns consist of proteins, vitamin E , iron and zinc. Its a good source of Omega 3 fatty acids too.So it is  very good for our health. Shall we go to the recipe now?

  • Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:
  • Deshell, devein, and wash the prawns thoroughly.
  • Chop the onions.
Cooking Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seed, split black gram and let it splutter.
  • Fry the chopped onions to golden brown
  • Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt , tomato pieces  one after another and saute them continuously till the tomatoes become soft.
  • Now add the prawns and mix them well. Cook the prawns in  a low flame for ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Garnish it with  a spring of  curry leaves, at present there is  no stock of it.So I didn't do so.
  • Remove from the heat. Here is your spicy Indian Prawn fry . Eat them and enjoy.
Serve with:
  • Spicy Indian prawn fry goes well with steamed rice, roti, puri , iddli, dosa and parathas.
Note:
  • Do not over cook the prawns, as it makes prawns rubbery .
  • Water can be added to change the consistency of prawn fry.
  • Adjust the chilli powder according to your taste.
Keep smiling! Have a nice day.
