Sweet Flat Rice With Coconut Recipe / Sweet Aval Recipe / Sweet Poha Recipe

Hi friends,
             Sweet Flat Rice With Coconut is prepared with the combination of flat rice, sugar and coconut. Its very easy to prepare.It can be prepared when there is no time to spend for cooking or for neivedhanam for God. Its a best recipe for the bachelors. We can have it for our breakfast  or evening snack .Lets  check out how to prepare it.



Ingredients:
  • Flat rice / Aval  250g
  • A cup of  boiled milk
  • A small cup of sugar
  • 1/2 coconut (scrapped)
  • A pinch of cardamom
Preparation:
  • Clean the flat rice. We may use rice sieve for that purpose.
  • Scrape the coconut using mixer grinder or the scrapper.
 Method:
  • Take the flat rice in a bowl  and add the boiled milk.Mix  them with the spoon.
  • Add sugar, scrapped coconut and the cardamom powder.Again mix them.
  • Now the Sweet Flat Rice With Coconut is ready to serve.
Note:
  • Consume the sweet flat rice with coconut at once.  Its prepared with coconut, so we cannot store it for a long time.
  • Adjust the milk level according to the flat rice nature. 
  • Adjust the quantity of sugar as per your taste.

  12. Dear Neela, it took such a long time for me to find this delicious recipe. Thank you. I have a question, does the aval get completely soaked in the milk and will the end result be dry aval or fully wet aval?
